Sports Complex:

*Provide information for people to learn the sport
The sports complex will be a large arena where people will be able to watch "extreme" paint ball. We use the word extreme because this is more than just a field with some cover and a bunch of guys playing capture the flag. This is a serious arena with teams of upwards of twenty or thirty who have an entire city to play in. Paint grenades, rocket launchers and high powered paint sniper rifles along with cars and busses to drive around add to the excitement. The goal is to make a live action Grand Theft Auto style war right there in the staidum.
The area where the fans are will be set up in stadium style seating with big jumbotron like screens stationed around above the "pit" where all the action will be going on. This way you can watch the monitors and see all the action at once rather than try and watch it all in one view down below. It is a simple double elimiation battle where the goal is not to capture the other teams flag or get their base but to simply eliminate all the oposing players.
Away from the view of the field of play will be sections for people to learn about the game, and the physics of paintball. Why are the barrels cut with a spiral groove in the inside? Well that is to make the ball spin and keep it accurate when flying through the air. It will teach people all kids of things like what the paint is made out of, how we keep people safe in the cars as they fly through the city, and even the history and "legends" of paintball.
