The theme park is made to look like a large city, there are 5 main areas, Algonquin, Alderney, Dukes, Bohan, and Broker. All of these areas represent areas in the real Grand Theft Auto 4 game, and will be modeled to look as much like them as possible. Nothing about the city can be ignored, from the cars parked on the side of the road to the steam rising from the subway vents. The areas will be laid out just like the real Grand Theft Auto Map. Each section will have its own main focus. Algonquin, the main metropolis of the theme park will have lots of shopping in an open mall sort of format. This will also be the area for the “High Rise Drop” but more on that later. The majority of the roller coasters will be set up in the Dukes along with the world’s fair area, and the more kid friendly rides placed in Alderney.
The High Rise Drop is a ride where you enter a large building and as the name suggests ride an elevator to the top. When you get there the lights begin to flicker and a phone call reaches the elevator telling you they are having technical difficulties and they will get you out any second. The elevator then begins to sway gently and creek until it promptly fails all the security measures and plummets to the floor only to save you at the last moment sparing your life. Upon reaching the ground safe you will be escorted out of the elevator by firemen, return to the streets where there is a full “rescue scene” complete with police cars and fire trucks ready to have gone up to save you, if only you didn’t have to ride it all the way to the bottom.

The worlds fair will be an area where people can see both the past and future of the real world. This works well in this theme because the city you are in isn’t particularly old or futuristic. High tech demonstrations that would often times be reserved to people who can make it to conferences like Siggraph or IITSEC. This is contrasted by areas where you can learn about how things were done in the “old country” of your choice, this way people can get a full spectrum of where technology has come from and going to. This will be stationed in the Duke.

The main transportation around the theme park, other than walking, is of course Roman’s cabs. They will be altered a little however to accommodate more than one car load of people, and be on tracks so people can see where they will be going and be aware of oncoming traffic.
